A joyful celebration of color, craftsmanship, and an enduring glassmaking tradition.

Individually mouth-blown by skilled artisans in Poland, this striking Friendship Ball features a distinctive feather-inspired design, with ribbons and droplets of brilliant red, coral, pink, turquoise, violet, golden yellow and green flowing through clear glass.

The sweeping feather pattern gives the piece wonderful movement and depth. As light passes through the glass, its colors seem to change and glow, making it especially beautiful displayed near a window, on an ornament stand, or among the lights of a Christmas tree.

Each Friendship Ball is individually handcrafted, meaning no two will ever be exactly alike. Subtle variations in color, pattern and glass are part of its character and make every ball a unique piece of artisan glass.

Rooted in an old glassblowing tradition, friendship balls were historically created from glass remaining at the end of an artisan’s working day and given as tokens of good luck, friendship and lasting affection. It is a wonderful story that makes this piece as meaningful to give as it is beautiful to receive.

At approximately 10 cm (3.94”), this substantial piece can be enjoyed throughout the year and then take a special place among treasured Christmas decorations each holiday season.
