A tiny Christmas story, lovingly told by hand. This beautiful nativity ornament is created from a natural gourd, carefully carved and etched with delicate stars to resemble a peaceful night sky. Nestled inside is a miniature Holy Family scene with hand-painted clay figures, making each piece a small work of traditional folk art.

Handcrafted in Peru under fair trade conditions, every ornament carries the subtle variations and character that come only from something made by hand. A meaningful addition to the Christmas tree, it is a lovely reminder of the heart of the season and a piece that can be brought out and treasured year after year.

Because natural gourds are used, variations in shape, size and coloring are part of the beauty of each individual ornament.
